I'm watching Antenna (note: link is f-locked post at [profile] ourhour) and so far it is interesting...

I don't know what to think... But I think I just might like it. lol!

It's a jmovie from 2004 and stars Ryo Kase (whoever that is... maybe he's a big name but i'm not quite up on my japanese celebs yet [minus JE lol^^])

For those that can't see the link and don't want to join the AWESOME community of WIN...
Synopsis
Tales of a missing girl returned to her family years after being kidnapped flood the news, bringing a nightmare back to another family. Yuichiro (Ryo Kase), a college student, returns home one day to find his little brother, Yuya, sleeping on his doorstep. Yuya has come to tell Yuichiro that Marie will be coming home soon and that his antenna is telling him this. Marie is Yuichiro's little sister who disappeared when they were both young children. The entire family was devastated. Mother essentially went mad, calling in psychics and Feng Shui experts, and turning to religion in a desperate effort to find Marie, while Yuichiro's uncle, who lived with the family, committed suicide, and his father died shortly thereafter. Yuichiro returns home, where he learns that his mother has forced his little brother Yuya, who feels a mystical bond with the missing girl, to take the place of Marie, even wearing her clothes. Yuichiro decides to hire a psychic investigator, Soma, who sees a strange connection between Marie's disappearance and the big power antenna near the family's home. Meanwhile, ostensibly doing "research" for a paper, Yuichiro goes to visit Naomi, a dominatrix. He soon becomes obsessed with her and her abuse, lovingly meted out; it helps him uncover the emotional trauma of his own involvement with Marie's disappearance.

For mature viewers only. It's not very graphic (except for some nudity), but the situations are intense. So watch at your own risk; don't come complaining to me about the content afterwards.

edit:// I've finished watching, and I LOVED IT. It really is interesting! well... I'm about to go into analysis mode lol as this is one of those films that you could analyze to the bone for deeper meaning and still miss something. It's intense and at the same time not intense. And! I think everyone should watch it when they're in an analytical mood ♥
