I know I'm not the only one wanting more F/F in fandom *grin* and that is motivating this.

Hm, commentathons tend to do better then prompt fests (at least, if they're advertised well). LDWS - well I don't really know. They're sort of hit or miss for me personally (mostly miss).

I picked any fandom, but Harry Potter-only would be fun too. =)

Oh no, I like them too :) it wouldn't be an option if I didn't like them. Hence no exchanges XDD I don't always like them, but that has more to do with how they're set up than anything else...

I think there is something of a gap in HP for a prompt based f/f fest. Femmefest is an exchange fest and Dark Witches has its focus on specific characters and themes. I think comment based fests are more low pressure but they also generate less readership.

Although there are a couple of f/f HP comms for posting fic, it would be nice to see a community for f/f which wasn't just about the fest - a place where characters, ships and so on could be discussed in posts as well as running an annual prompt based fest and where people could cross post fic.

I'm not a fan of comment fests, and I do like LDWS' but they have a limited number of people, so I think a prompt fest would be awesome :D
