Warning: CRACK!!!

One must admit that it was a strange happening, that day on which all the world's computers simultaneously exploded. Scratch that. Not ALL the computers. This wasn't Y2K after all! Only those computers that frequented one infamous site known as livejournal, or, in some places, addiction straight from the depths of HELL!

---~~~---

It was an afternoon, just like any other afternoon, the sun beating down on poor, unsuspecting - okay, so they were used to it by now, but please bear with me for the sake of dramatic effect - souls out of their daily walk to market as one must have food to survive. Suddenly, out of seemingly nowhere (and everywhere all at once), there was a great cacophony of sound, of popping, crackling noises, like a million miniature Hiroshimas all in the breadth of just seconds.

Annabelle, also known as jaeLove4everBB, was sitting at her computer when it happened, her screen displaying what had to be the longest of friends lists, and just as she was kicking herself for abandoning this clandestine love for more than a day - dear lord had it really been three? why was she in three hundred communities again? - something peculiar happened (although peculiar wasn't quite the word on her mind. The computer screen went red, black lettering flashing the following message in all caps. DEATH TO LIVEJOURNAL FANDOMS. Then the screen went black moments before it shatter with the force of an explosion - implosion? It wasn't an ordinary explosion with the way it operated. Things don't randomly combust - as glass shards embedded themselves into her cheeks.

She knew that she had been in fandoms WAY too long when the first word she thought was not "ouch" but rather was "itai!" - the japanese equivalent. But she wouldn't give it up for the world, and hurried out of her house to the library because there was no way in hell she'd let that friends list get any longer. a sad sight befell her eyes as the carnage of many computers was all that was left at the library, and after a quick text to all lj friends, she knew there was a problem.

LIVEJOURNAL WAS DEAD.

And her face was the epitome of an eye-bulging emote. O.O

THE END.
