After Shiwon left the room, Kibum’s composure broke. Curling into a ball, he left the tears fall, confused at his reactions, and wishing he knew the catalyst of Shiwon’s actions. Why was he the ‘lucky’ one? Why did Shiwon desire that in the first place? Why was it pleasurable on some baser level? Why?
It shouldn’t be pleasurable. It shouldn’t be. No. He didn’t like it. His body did. That was different, right? Kibum really didn’t know; all he knew was that there was no end to the tears as his body shook with emotion.
That was how Eunhyuk found him, a rocking fetal ball of wet.
People didn’t normally associate Eunhyuk with comfort; he wasn’t the warm fuzzy blanket type, more the awkward goofball. But he was loyal, and he cared, and Kibum obviously needed someone, even if it wasn’t him specifically. His jaw set in determination as he entered the room and shut the door, the click resounding louder than it should have, but no louder than normal for Eunhyuk.
Kibum flinched and looked up, fear obvious in his eyes until they registered the sight as Eunhyuk, not Shiwon. He audibly sighed, trying to choke away his tears, but before he succeeded, he found himself enveloped in an embrace, and he stiffened in a mindless reaction.
“S-sorry Eunhyukkie. I… just –” Kibum erupted into a fresh bout of tears and clung to the other, bury his head in the crook of his neck as the elder stroked his hair, making soft shushing noises; surprisingly doing exactly the right thing at exactly the right moment. Had Kibum not been having an emotional breakdown, he would have reveled in the phenomenon.
They spent hours like that, the elder rocking the younger gently; neither noticed the crack created in the door, or the shadow glowering on the other side, waiting to pounce and punish.
