Chapter 1
He supposed he really ought to start at the beginning, the beginning of the end. Or was it the end of the beginning? Did it even matter at this point?
That’s neither here nor there. To put it simply, he was possessed the first moment the other cheekily grinned at him. He forgot. Everything. He smiled, giggled like a schoolgirl, blushed a tad. He would remember that exhilarating embarrassment for the rest of his life.
Changmin was breathtaking.
But back to the chain of events. They were all at a filming, another one of those goofy variety showed the Korean public so loved. Having done so many, he had lost all sense of their appeal. But again, he was straying from the main point.
Super Junior was at a filming, all thirteen members. Like always, they were expected to perform fanservice with each other. But that didn’t matter to him; it was habit now.
What wasn’t expected was the arrival of DBSK; it hadn’t been on the schedule sheet. But what did the audience like better than 13 hott men? How about 18 hott men!
They had all been friends for years, but he had always felt a little awkward around the younger, although he hid it well. He was positive that no one knew.
When he started dating Donghae, he thought all would get better. Donghae was wonderful to him, everything that anyone could ever want. So why was there a niggling feeling that something was missing.
Donghae was fun, caring, flirty at all the right moments, and of course, just short of perfect in bed. So why wasn’t it enough?
Because he wasn’t Changmin. He didn’t have that quick impish grin, at least not the same impish grin. He didn’t have that sexy pout, at least not the same sexy pout. When you think about it, they were similar enough that it should have been enough, but it wasn’t.
It was because Eunhyuk didn’t love Donghae, not in the same way at least.
He wouldn’t deny that Donghae was an amazing guy, and in some aspects he wished that the latter didn’t love him so. Then he wouldn’t have this growing guilt.
But again, and again, let us get back on track.
He and all the other Super Junior members were busy watching Donghae be his normal lovably goofball self on top of a platform, when something heavenly crossed his line of sight, distracting him. Changmin.
Breathless, a grin flashed across his face, and he took an involuntary step forward. A step that Changmin saw, his mind smirking, his face grinning innocently. Yes, that’s right. Changmin knew. But Changmin chose not to act up until this point.
Changmin, still cheekily grinning, stepped towards Eunhyuk and, playing it off as a show for the in studio crowd, “Follow my lead… the girls will love this” he whispered conspiratorially as he embraced the other.
Eunhyuk giggled and hugged in return, helpless to do anything but. It was hard enough to remember to breath, so of course he didn’t notice the look of jealousy and hate that embedded itself on Donghae’s features. Although, if he had, he wasn’t sure he would have even cared. The hug felt too heavenly.
The smirk in Changmin’s mind grew wider, as his outward innocence seemingly increased. He had the older exactly where he wanted him. In lust and love, love and lust with him. If only he didn’t have to continue this innocence act any longer. If only. If only.
There was only one thing in Eunhyuk’s mind. One thing. Damn his lips look like paradise served with a side of sweet cream. I love him so much. Okay. Make that two things. Two things on his mind. Lust and Love. Love and lust. With Changmin, and Changmin only.
Donghae didn’t enter his mind. Donghae was left alone, the spotlight gone. Left alone, to pout and seethe on a pedestal, when all he wanted was the attention of one man.
Beginning of the end, end of the beginning, it was the path leading to ‘the end’ and the three had just thrust themselves onto it.
