Changmin woke alone, crying as was his waking habit. Rubbing his eyes furiously, he pasted a confident smirk, the signature Changmin confident smirk, on his face, adding a touch of cute cheer for good measure. Normally he was completely successful with his mask, but today it was strained.
He probably could have had a good thing, a wonderful thing with Eunhyuk, but the memories of his father and his jealousy of Eunhyuk’s relationship with the adorable Donghae clouded his ability to see that.
He had been so small the first time his father had visited him in the dark of night, dragging him into the basement, beating him. When he got older, it hadn’t been just a beating that he received.
Imagine his joy when he joined SM Entertainment and moved into one of its many dorms, away from his father and the midnight interludes. But the damage had already been done.
Now he was stuck on memory lane, the path brutally endless and infinite.
